Peter Pan

This story was written as a play premiered in London in 1904 by Scottish writer James Matthew Barrie under the title Peter Pan and Wendy . Given the success it had among children, it was converted into a children's book in 1911. It recounts the adventures of Peter Pan, a boy who does not want to grow up, who, together with the fairy Tinkerbell, visits the house of Wendy and her brothers John and Michael and takes them to Neverland Island with the intention of making Wendy the mother of the missing child. But on the island lives the evil Captain Hook and his sailors who hate Peter Pan and will do anything to destroy him.
