Susanna Isern
Susanna Isern grew up surrounded by the Pyrenees mountains. As a child, what she liked the most was running from here to there while discovering incredible insects and helping sick or endangered animals. It was at that time that some of those animals began to whisper stories to her, which she quickly wrote in a notebook that she always carried with her. Nowadays, the stories arise in the most unexpected way: some knock on the door, others are found hidden under the bed or swimming in the coffee with milk, although most appear as butterflies that she catches in flight.
Since she published "Pilú, Pilú!", her first illustrated album, in the spring of 2011, almost a hundred children's books have been published. Most of her works are traded internationally and can be found in more than 30 languages. Her works have more than 500,000 readers in the world.
