The elephant is sad. He has remained in the shadows, and does not speak or relate to anyone. The other animals try to cheer him up: the monkey, who knows how to tell jokes; the ostrich sisters, who are excellent dancers, and even the crocodile. But the elephant does not smile or move, it just sighs and remains in the shadows. Then, a little mouse comes almost out of breath and sits next to the elephant. He just wants to rest. So the two remain silent. Later, the mouse tells them his story, they cry and, finally, more relieved, they go in search of the mouse's house.

The hypnotizing images in saturated and bright tones, created by Valerio Vidale, intensify the contrast between joy and sadness, while the gradient of blues gives depth to a story told with subtlety and charm.
