Many know Alice in Wonderland. But very few know that the author himself, Lewis Carroll, wrote an adaptation for young children 130 years ago which he called Cradle Alice. This beautiful edition will bring younger children closer to the wonderful universe of Alicia; so that, after reading it, a boy or a girl «... lies down in the shade of a tree, and waits for a white rabbit to run by, with a watch in hand, then closes their eyes, and thinks that she (or he) is the lovely Alice.

"Students are able to follow Alicia's journey as she meets new characters in the story. Each page offers readers a "think about this" or to "look closely" captions for readers to submerge deeper into the story! Great for independent reading and a classroom library!"
