La Cenicienta

En 1926, Gabriela Mistral estaba muy Interesada en la literatura infantil y escribe " La Cenicienta", basada en el cuento de Charles Perrault, escrito en el siglo XVII. La autora respeta los originales, sin dulcificar ni cambiar los finales. El texto “La Cenicienta” de Gabriela Mistral fue publicado en “Lecturas Dominicales” del diario “El Tiempo” de Bogotá, el 26 de diciembre de 1926. Editorial Amanuta rescata este poema en forma de libro ilustrado por Bernardita Ojeda, que acerca el cuento popular a la estética contemporánea y a la vez da a conocer una real primicia y un auténtico goce literario.
