Akarú, un pequeño niño que vive en la Pampa del Tamarugal, no se siente identificado con la banda de cazadores a la que pertenece, pero tiene gran afición por el dibujo y el arte. En “Esta mañana” una familia de chunchungos debe luchar por mantener su hábitat y así preservar su vida. 

In this book of short stories, Akarú, a small boy who lives in the Pampa del Tamarugal, does not identify with the band of hunters to which he belongs, but has a great fondness for drawing and art. In the story, "This morning" a family of chunchungos, small monkeys, must fight to maintain their habitat and thus preserve their life.
