Once upon a time there was a young lion living in the African savannah. Like all cubs, he loved playing, sunbathing on the rocks, fooling around with dad's hair and mom's tail. Until one day without meaning to, he got a bit too far away from the group and he feels a sudden hit to his head. Upon waking up nothing will be like it was.
Using delicate texts and beautiful careful images the author tried to portrait the reality of caged animals in a children's book. This piece is inspired in the true story of Gaucho, a lion that spent years caged in the trailer of a circus.
